October 4 – 10, 2026
Marin’s Banned Books Week Committee supports local booksellers, librarians, teachers, readers, thinkers, and civic organizations participating in National Banned Books Week, which in 2026 falls on October 4 – 10. We encourage and publicize community activities that raise awareness of the issue, and obtain the endorsements from legislators and officials.
We also publicize specific issues as they arise the rest of the year. Here’s one from May 2026.
