Marin’s Banned Books Week Committee supports local bookstores and other organizations that participate in National Banned Books Week, which this year falls on October 4 – 10. We encourage and publicize community activities that raise awareness of the issue, and obtain the endorsements from legislators and officials.
We also publicize specific issues as they arise the rest of the year. Here’s one from May 2026.
